It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Gail Wenner (Godwin) announce her passing on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Regina General Hospital, in Regina, SK.

Sandra leaves behind her daughter Terri (Ben) Lawson; granddaughters Hannah and Amelia Lawson; sister Debra (Peter) Crowe; brother Fred (Joyce) Godwin; Aunt Diane (Ronald) Harriott; nieces and nephews Amanda Dion, Julie Kobrynovich, Shawn Godwin, Shelly Crowe, Tom Crowe; and their children.

She was predeceased by her father and mother Harry and Joan Godwin; sister Nancy (Mario) Dion; and brother-in-law Peter Crowe.

Sandra was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on August 8, 1956. She served in the CAF (Canadian Armed Forces) for 22 years until she retired in 1997 with her last posting at the Canadian Frigate Program in Saint John.

Sandra moved back to Regina in 2021 to be close to her granddaughters, who she loved dearly.  She always lived life to the fullest, enjoying travelling, adventures, time in the sun, camping, swimming, playing cards, shopping, holidays, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan and in Saint John, New Brunswick at a later date.
