Obituary of Kenneth Alwyn Moerike

MOERIKE, Ken

July 26, 1939 - May 15, 2023

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ken on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the age of 83. 

Ken's memory will be cherished by his children; son Curtis (Shelley), son Daryn (Kathy), daughter Lyvanna; grandkids, Kiana, Renee, Reese, Mathew, Jacob, and Tyler; his brother Charlie (Marilyn); as well as many other family and friends. 

He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Selma; spouse Karen; and brother Ed.

Ken was born in Dummer, SK where he grew up and later lived in Milestone, working for the Department of Highways until his retirement in 2000. 

Ken enjoyed playing cards at Carington Court with the other folks who lived there alongside him, during his last few years. 

He was known for having a great sense of humor and would always bring a smile to the faces of those around him. 

You will be missed Ken; dad, grandfather and friend!
