June 18, 1973 – May 24, 2023

The family of Lorena Keepness, late of Regina, SK, sadly announce her passing on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 49.

Lorena is predeceased by paternal grandparents Louis and Cecelia Lonethunder (Shepherd); father Kelly Lonethunder; maternal grandparents, Herbert Standingready and Dorothy Favel; mother Lois Irene Shepherd (Favel); sister Carri Favel; special uncle Fred Standingready.

She was a loving mother to Summer, Rayne, Tanis & Tamra, Cole, Alicia, Jacob, Jerah and Adam.  She very much adored her grandchildren Isabelle and Ezra.  Lorena also leaves behind her companion Dean; special nephew Harlin; sisters Jaime, Olivia; brothers Kelvin and Kelly.

Lorena was so strong in her faith.  She was protective of her family and was not one to beat around the bush but was an open, honest, and straightforward person.  She was truly one of a kind and has left a legacy of love and perseverance.

Wake will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. 

Funeral Service will be held at the Speers Family Centre, on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
