Obituary of Douglas Martin Nagel

Doug passed away in Regina, SK, on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl (’63) and Johanna (’78) Nagel; sons, Terrence Nagel (’74), Jerome Nagel (’90), Kelly Hanison (’88), Dean Hanison (’98), and Tracy Hanison (’99). Doug is survived by his wife Helene Nagel (nee Schiewe) and their son David Nagel (Julianne Jack). He is also survived by his children, Pat Hubick, Debra (Julian) Hepler, Stephen (Carrie) Hanison-Nagel, Lori Smith, Phillip (Kim) Hanison and Denise Nagel; brother Delbert (Jo) Nagel; sister Darlene (Vern) Sane; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Come and Go Tea will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 235 Yorkland Blvd, Suite 600, Toronto, ON M2J 4Y8.
