He was predeceased by his parents Floyd and Ellen Young; his first wife Lydia (Thompson); two daughters Lorie Booth and Susan Young-Crawford; son-in-law Allan Hardy; brothers Lloyd and Raymond; and sister-in-law Mildred. Bill is survived by his wife Kathleen; daughter Marion; son Ron (Terri); sons-in-law Roland Booth and Bill Crawford; brother Allan (Audrey); and sister-in-law Sylvia; as well as 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces; nephews and cousins. Bill was born July 21, 1927, at Eastleigh, SK where the family lived until he was 15. They then moved to the farm near Lumsden where he resided until he moved into the town of Lumsden in 1987. Around 1970 he began his additional career selling agricultural equipment with brothers Lloyd and Raymond.  The rest is history. He was involved in the Cattleman’s Association, the Stockgrowers Association and Agribition for many years. When he retired from being on the road he became involved with the Sukanen Museum in Moose Jaw, donating many antique tractors, buildings and hours of time.  He took up his fiddle again, playing in jams at local nursing homes and all over Mesa, Arizona. He was honored to be invited to play with the Regina Heritage Fiddlers, playing many concerts including Wintergreen. In 2003 he married Kathleen Brin and they had nearly 20 years of many traveling adventures including wintering in Mesa Dunes Park in Mesa, Arizona.
