Several years ago, during my time at Access Communications, I had the pleasure of working alongside Cal. One particular memory of him stands out vividly in my mind. One year for Christmas, I decided to surprise his team with a unique gift: "Fuzoodle" craft kits. These kits were designed for children and contained assorted materials such as pipe cleaners and parts to create adorable little creatures. Little did I know that this small gesture would create lasting memories.
A few days later, while on a lengthy bus trip, my phone buzzed with a message. It was Cal and his team eagerly sharing photos of the amusing creations they had crafted using the Fuzoodles kit. It was heartwarming to witness the joy and creativity that blossomed from such a simple gift.
To people that didn't know him, Cal probably seemed like a pretty serious guy, but he possessed a remarkable talent for effortlessly slipping witty comments into conversations. His humor was often so subtly woven into the fabric of discussions that it would easily evade the notice of most people. However, for those fortunate enough to catch these clever remarks, it was absolutely hilarious and an absolute joy.
Looking back, I am grateful for the time I shared with Cal at Access Communications. The memory of his keen wit will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I was incredibly saddened and shocked to hear of Calvin’s passing. I have many amazing memories during the 35 years we’ve been friends. We met as a couple Regina boys in 1988 not in Regina but at Waterloo in first year Mechanical Engineering classes. We were also in the same residence on campus. Calvin and I became fast friends during that year and set about exploring Kitchener, Toronto and other nearby areas. We purchased our suits at the same store in Waterloo to get ready for the first co-op work term and road tripped from Regina to Waterloo in our respective cars. Over the years after Waterloo, we video gamed on New Years Eve, played hours of tennis and even made a trip to Las Vegas. Calvin was a great friend with a truly genuine nature and I will sorely miss him. My deepest condolences to the Gee family.

It is with great sadness to hear the news of Cal's passing. I was a shock to hear the news and for those of us that worked with him for many, many years at Access. Cal was the strong but silent type and was the go to for some of the tough technical issues.
We all worked closely with him over the years and he was so dedicated to getting the issue resolved. You can tell he had pride in the work he did and the perseverance to see things come to resolution. The best was joking around or our discussions and seeing the smile on his face. Or the insight he had on things.
We will all miss him at Access as he has been a major part of the Access family. It was an honor to get to know him and we send our deepest condolences to his family.

Dear Arch, Ed and the Gee Family:
I was deeply saddened to hear about the unexpected passing of your beloved brother, Calvin. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.
Having known your family for 40+ years, I remember the close bond you all shared. Calvin, a quiet and intelligent man, had a kind and gentle nature. I always admired his ability to see the good in others and his thoughtful and concise comments reflected his genuine character.
Calvin had a passion for the challenge of games of chance, particularly poker, where he achieved remarkable results. He dedicated his life to staying close to his siblings and parents. His unwavering loyalty and commitment to his loved ones were truly admirable.
Although Calvin had experienced some heart problems in the past, it was unexpected and devastating that his heart stopped just days after contemplating the doctors' recommendation for open heart surgery. The loss of such a cherished individual leaves a void that can never be filled.
Please know that I am here for you and your family in this time of grief. If there is anything I can do to offer support or comfort, please do not hesitate to reach out. Calvin will be deeply missed, but his memory and the love he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
Sending you my sincerest condolences and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Rua Tang
