Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Martin
It is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann Martin announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and aunt on June 28, 2023.
Jackie loved being surrounded by family and friends, and spent countless days soaking up the sun, on a beach, by the pool, or at the park with her granddaughter. She loved to travel and spent her holidays travelling to sunny destinations with family and friends. Jackie held many fond memories of trips to Mexico, New York, and Hawaii and always looked forward to her annual shopping trips with long-time friends, where she was known to out shop everyone. She was known for her style, and was always the best dressed in any room.
Jackie was hard-working and loyal, and dedicated her working years to the MacKenzie Art Gallery, where she built many lasting friendships. She will always be remembered for her enduring kindness, care and (terrible) sense of humour.
Jackie will forever be missed by her children, Jasen (Jennifer) Lindenbach and Jaret Lindenbach (Jennifer Sargeant-Radomski); her granddaughter, Jessica Lindenbach; her mother, Yvonne Ross; her siblings, Carolyn (Brian) Breti, Tammy (Brad) Braithwaite, John (Christy) Ross, and Robbie Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to her family and friends, and the staff in Unit 3-2 at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and Grace Hospice, who have assisted and supported Jackie in her journey over the past two years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wolfe Stroke Care Unit at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre.
