Obituary of Robin Dale Standingready

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, son, brother, relative, and friend, Robin Dale StandingReady (aka Goobie).

Robin was full of life and a true family man full of love without hesitation and compassion.  He leaves to mourn his children, Ryder, Rena, Melanie, and Ramie; grandson baby Kai; siblings Everett, Carl, Connor, Jonathan and Diette; his parents Darlene and Almer StandingReady, and many nephew, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Robin was an avid protector and provider of family.  He was deeply compassionate in sports - especially hockey and baseball.  Robin would call or message anytime of the day or night just to check on family whether it be his children, siblings, parents, nieces or nephews.  His athleticism paralleled his big heart.  Robin was successful at whatever sport he chose to try.  He won several baseball and hockey championships with the White Bear Lakers and the White Bear Eagles.  Throughout his athletic career and academic endeavours he made many a friend - near and far. 

Although Robin faced many challenges and troubles he would always remain positive and lived his life to the fullest.  He was risk taker and no doubt would try new things at least once.  His sense of humour, compassion, and love of life will forever be missed.  The family would like to thank all those who came to celebrate the life of our Robin Dale StandingReady, the Goobie.
