We were very sorry to hear Roy passed away. We will always remember his kind smile and great sense of humor. We remember the time we went with Dana and Roy to Williston and a stop sign ran into our Merv's vehicle, and smashed our windshield. We all had a good laugh. Thats when Roy gave Merv the nick name "Minot Merv" ?? You had to be there to understand the drift of it. We also had many good times at Manitou Lake. Roy was a very kind and sincere man. I’ve had the privilege of being included into many Hayden family suppers, special holidays, events, volunteering, trips and just hanging out! Decades of good memories with Dana, Roy and family. Roy was a kind, gentle man who was alway so good to me! We had lots of fun times and good laughs. Roy was amazing with his family’s little babies & children. He quietly held them, played with them and spoiled them. Rest now Roy. All of your ill health is behind you! You are free❤️ your friend Sandy Devine

To Roy's family. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the news of Roy's recent passing. I was honoured to have known Roy as a fellow member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a very friendly person who cared deeply about other AA members. Roy had expressed his pride of his family to me and was also proud to have come from his hometown of Rocanville.
