In Loving Memory of Linda Petrovitch

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved mother, Linda Petrovitch, on Thursday, June 29th. After a brief and courageous battle with lung cancer, Linda peacefully departed this world, surrounded by her adoring children, on the Palliative Care Unit in Regina.

At the age of 66, Linda was still actively engaged in full-time employment at Cooperators Life Insurance Company, where she proudly dedicated nearly four decades of her life as a contract specialist. Linda's commitment and dedication will forever be remembered by her colleagues.

Linda was a beacon of warmth, cheerfulness, and unwavering positivity. She held her friends and family close to her heart, and her infectious spirit endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She took joy in the simplest pleasures of life—curling up with a glass of chardonnay to watch Coronation Street, or preparing delightful meals for cherished friends and family. She relished the company of her dear girlfriends during fun-filled nights out, filled with laughter. Above all, Linda adored spending time with her three beloved grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter, Afton (Kyle) and son, Justin. She will forever be remembered by her father, Wayne, and her cherished grandchildren, Lilah, Jaxon, and Harrison, who were the light of her life. Linda also leaves behind her dear brothers, Stephen (Laura) and David, who shared a special bond of love and support.

As we mourn the loss of Linda Petrovitch, we find solace in the memories of her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love. She will forever remain in our hearts as a guiding light, reminding us to cherish the simplest joys and the invaluable bonds of family and friendship.

A Private, Family Celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Linda's memory to The Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 225 – 1874 Scarth Street, Regina, SK S4P 4B3, specifically the Palliative Care Unit,

Linda Petrovitch, you will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Rest peacefully, dear mom, knowing that your love and legacy live on within each of us.
