Obituary of Cheyene Naomius Bellegarde

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheyene Naomius Bellegarde, of Regina, SK, on July 5, 2023 at the age of 29. Cheyene was born on December 2, 1993. She was predeceased by her grandma’s, Emily Dubois and Elsie Bellegarde. Cheyene is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her two sons, Damiune and Malikia Bellegarde; mother Jacqueline Dubois of Regina, SK; father Warren Bellegarde of Regina, SK; brothers Ryan Dubois, Matthew and Mackenzie Dubois; sisters Renee Dubois and Summer Dubois; numerous nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins. She will also be missed by special friend Nav Mander of Abbotsford, BC; and special auntie, Kim Poorman of Regina, SK. “You were the best mom I can ask for.”

A wake will be held for Cheyene Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Speers Family Centre on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 followed by her Interment at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East. A Feast will take place at Speers Family Centre after the Interment.

We would like to ask all women to wear flowers in their hair. Cheyene always had flowers in her hair. The family would be grateful for any gifts of flowers in memory of Cheyene. She loved all her nieces and nephews and was always cooking or baking with them or chasing them around. Cheyene had such a big heart.
