Obituary of Patrick William Darrah

Patrick William Darrah, 49, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Regina, SK. He will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew him. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, and raised in Saskatchewan, Patrick was a man of immense passion and was deeply loved by his friends and family. Patrick's love for the sea and sailing guided him to serve in the Royal Canadian Navy following his high school graduation. Stationed in Esquimalt, BC, he demonstrated remarkable dedication rising to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant, exemplifying his unwavering commitment to duty and service. Following his naval service, Patrick pursued his passion for technology, attending the University of Regina, earning a degree in Computer Science. Equipped with his newfound knowledge, he embarked on a successful career as a software developer. Patrick's loving spirit will be forever treasured by his surviving father Norm, sister Erin, and brother Shawn. While his mother Linda has predeceased him, her memory remains a cherished part of Patrick's legacy. Patrick, you are deeply missed and fondly remembered.  May you rest in peace.
