Carmen Goldfinch-Dubé passed away peacefully, on the morning of July 12, 2023, at the age of 54 years, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Carmen will be greatly missed by her husband, Paul; daughter, Jenna; and step-son, Logan.  Carmen will also be lovingly remembered by her parents, Gordon and Pat Goldfinch of Semans, SK; two sisters, Rosalee (Len) Floyd of Hope, BC; Sabrina Goldfinch (Cory Bali) of Glenavon, SK; two brothers, Mitchell (Kathy) Goldfinch of Regina, SK; Lindsay Goldfinch of Semans, SK; two nieces, Jacqueline (Michael) Duck of Prince George, BC; Alexandra Floyd of Kamloops, BC;  two nephews, Jace and Brady Goldfinch-Bali of Glenavon, SK. Carmen had a love of travel, fine wine, sports, and animals-especially dogs. Carmen pursued a career in nursing after spending two summers, as a patient, in the Regina General Hospital.  Carmen met Paul while she was working in Occupational Health and Safety, at a northern Saskatchewan mine site, and together they welcomed a daughter, Jenna.  Carmen’s greatest love was her family.  She cherished the time she spent making memories with them.  Regardless of what Carmen was going through, she remained unselfish and giving.  Carmen set a beautiful example of what we can all aspire to be and maybe that is why God rewarded her with eternal life. Carmen was incredibly special, thoughtful, caring, and a great friend. A Memorial Service will be held at Regina Apostolic Church, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. In honour of Carmen and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Regina Humane Society.
