Obituary of Robert Bruce Johnsen
Robert Bruce Johnsen, 62, of North York, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Regina, Saskatchewan. It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Robert. Robert was a man that loved Jesus more than anything. He spent his life helping others and spreading the word of God everywhere he went. He entered the arms of Jesus in the early hours of July 26th, 2023. Robert was born in North York, Ontario to Robert and Ruth Johnsen on March 7th, 1961. He attended high school at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate and graduated in 1979. He went on to work a long and fulfilling career in law enforcement and loss prevention before retiring in 2016. In his spare time, he enjoyed martial arts, acting, having coffee with loved ones, and helping to spread the word of God to those in need. Robert always did the best he could with what he had.

He is survived by his son, Joshua, his long-time companion Glory Anne, his siblings Dianna, Sandra (Ken), Gina (Marv) and Anna (Kevin), along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his amazing mother Ruth and his loving brother Johnny (Sharon). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, 1632 Angus St., Regina, SK S4T 1Z2, and Carmichael Outreach, 1510 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 0L5. The family wishes to thank all the caring medical staff at Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital, along with the various family and friends who came to visit him. A Come and Go Tea will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A short service of remembrance will begin at 2:30 p.m.
