Obituary of George Andrew Christensen

In loving memory of George Andrew Christensen, born September 9, 1939, in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his parents, Gus and Vicki Christensen; brother Daniel; sister Janet; brother-in-law Walter. George is survived by his loving wife Lorraine; three children Terry (Lorne), Dan, Rick (Roselien); stepchildren Shane (Kelley), Gregg (Georgia), Erin (Vince), and numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by Lily, the mother of his children. George dedicated his entire career to Sasktel, leaving a lasting impact on the company. His love for Lorraine, and their love story, was an inspiration to all who knew them and together, they were active members of their church community in the town of Lumsden. With a wonderful sense of humour and a kind, helpful nature, George brought joy to those around him. He was a devoted fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and cherished spending time with his family. On Friday, July 28, 2023, George passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children. His memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
