Obituary of Justin Paul Franklin Bellegarde

Justin Paul Franklin Bellegarde (Little Boy who Dances from the East) also known as “Lil’ J” by family and friends, born August 31, 1987, passed on to the spirit world on August 2, 2023. Lil’ J will be reunited with his mother Gail Marie Bellegarde; his younger brother Joseph Vernon Bellegarde; his Kokum Doreen Bellegarde; including all the relatives who made their journey home. He leaves to mourn his passing his grandfather Vernon Bellegarde; aunty mom Pam Bellegarde; aunty Janine Bellegarde (Steven); seven remaining brothers, Vernon Pelletier, Mikey Starr Bellegarde, Chase Pelletier, Tyler Pelletier (Brittney), Avery Pelletier, Joshua Pelletier, and Kevin Joe Papequash; two sisters, Shayla Bellegarde and Fala-Jean Pelletier; six uncles, Murray, Lyle, Gordon, Michael, Shane and Cameron Bellegarde; his sister’s children became his own. He was proud of each of them and loved them. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Faith (Granddaughter Heavenly) and Winter Kaiswatum; his sons, Johnny Kaiswatum, Isaac-Joseph, Jakub, Marcus, and Ryker Bellegarde; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, friends, and relatives, each one being an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held at Indigenous Christian Fellowship Centre, Regina, SK on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wake will be held at Little Black Bear Community Centre on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Little Black Bear Community Centre on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Okanese Cemetery.
