Obituary of Irene Alice Mary Schnell

It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Schnell announce her passing on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Irene was born on December 22, 1933, in Radville, SK., to William and Yvonne Bouchard.

Irene enjoyed cooking, a good game of golf, knitting and socializing with friends. She could be found playing cards and being active within her community at Trinity Manor.  

Irene was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Leland; son Gary; sisters Rose Berger, Ellen Stoughton; brother Alec Bouchard; Lee’s parents Ralph and Mary; in-laws Jim, Guy, and Audrey Schnell, Ben Berger and Lionel Bourassa. She will be loving remembered by her children; daughter Lee Ann Thickson, and her son Connor (Brooklyn); son Craig (Yadis) and children, Errol, Rachelle (Brandon), Mellissa, Frania, and Marieke and their children Brixton, Laiken, Holt, Tyson, Jonah, Emmett and August; daughter in-law Geralyn and her children Owen (Amanda) and their sons Theo and Cole, and Molly; son Kelly (Jo Ann) and Brandon; son Tom (Lisa) and children Amy (Jemahl) and their daughters Neala and Lilah and Nicholas, Riley (Brittany), and Joshua; her siblings, Rita Bourassa, Jean (Abe) Harder, Aurlie (Bill) Hodges, Ken Bouchard and  Joanne (Brian) Bates, brother and sisters in law Don Stoughton, Betty Bouchard, Maureen, (Stan) Pielak, Cecile Schnell as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
