So very sorry to hear the passing of Paul. I met Paul during Crown Life days. Loved working with Paul and his sense of humour. The surprise birthday party Marlene and the GEMS project team organised for Paul was one of the unique memories I have of Paul. My condolences to Marlene and the family.

So sad to hear this news! I spent several months sharing a workspace at Crown Life/Canada Life with Paul. This was one of the most enjoyable work experiences of my life! Paul had such a great sense of humour and yet he was also very soft hearted and a good listener if you needed a serious discussion. He had a unique way of cheering people up! My condolences to Marlene and the rest of the family on his loss!

Marlene and family,
My sincere condolences on Paul's passing. I truly enjoyed working with him at Crown and remember his sense of humour, love of the music band Queen, and listening to his many stories about Toronto and Head Office. We shared a love for the crazy comedy genius of Mel Brooks, Leslie Nielson, and so forth. He truly will be missed. May the many fond memories bring you comfort in your time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences to Marlene and family. This is Paul and I in the summer of 1975, after graduating High School in Scarborough, Ontario. We were going to take the world by storm, but all we wanted to do then was have fun! Paul was an usher along with my brothers in 1982 when Colleen and I married. We lost touch when I moved to the US but connected in recent years and traded barbs about the Leafs and Hurricanes. What I did realize was he loved his family and he will be missed but fond memories will soon fill
our thoughts as we reflect back on the impact to our lives that he made. With sympathy, Jim and.Colleen Bacon
