My deepest sympathies I’ll share that my favorite memory of Bob was his warm, infectious laugh. Bob warmth shone in a decades long friendship with my parents (Harvey and Phyllis) and was regularly brought up in conversation whether it be bridge nights or dinners … always with happy memories. Thank you Bob for all the joy you bought to our family. Rest in peace. Sincerely, Jeff Kennedy.

My memory of Bob goes way back to when we were kids. The boys and girls used to gather under the streetlight at the corner of McKay Street and 14th Avenue in the evenings. The boys used to get there a little earlier to hide under the wooden sidewalk to scare the girls. Bob was always a good guy, we had lots of fun before technology. Dear Janice: Bob loved rock 's roll music and one of our favourite memories was watching you two dance like a couple teenagers. There was never any doubt that you were his favourite girl and he was your rock star. Bob was always a huge and joyful presence in any gathering. His wisdom, kindness and generosity knew no bounds and we all benefited from having him in our lives. The Riders have certainly lost their most exuberant fan and we a special, cherished friend. My condolences to Janice and the family. I remember fondly the early years working for Bob at Sasktel in the IT department. He was a great boss and always had a joke for us . We had some memorable Friday lunches and happy hours with the gang! Also Bob and Janice had the chance to visit us in Chile while on a cruise and we had a Peruvian lunch with my family in Viña Del Mar . Fond memories. Dale Bassen
