Obituary of Gordon Lloyd McMurdo

MCMURDO, Gordon Lloyd

April 8, 1943 –August 19, 2023

Gordon passed away peacefully on Saturday August 19th, 2023, at the age of 80 years.  He was predeceased by his parents Dot and Ray; his wife Adrienne; brother Roger; and Son Gordie.  Gordon is survived by his son Gregory (Val and family); daughter-in-law Lana; grandchildren Ryan (Destini), Janelle, Kara, Baily (Cory) and Riley; as well as great-grandchildren, Leo, Rory, Lily, Nash, and Wyatt. 

Gordon grew up in the small town of Sylvania, SK where his first job was helping his family on the farm. He was a hardworking man who always had a job, all the way into his 70's.  He enjoyed working in construction, operating equipment and as a mechanic at FGI, Botkins, and Wappel to name a few. Gordon also ran a restaurant with his wife and did anything else he had to do to support his family.  He and his wife Adrienne had 2 sons together Gordie and Greg, whom he loved spending time with, as well as spending quality time with all their children and his great grandchildren too.  He loved to play crib, go camping with his family, work in his garage, play instruments, listen to music, have coffee and a laugh with numerous good friends.
