Obituary of Steve Olasz

STEVE OLASZ Steve, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the age of 80 years. He was born in Becsehely, Hungary September 4, 1933. Predeceased by his first wife, Anne; sister Bursi; and brothers Joska, Ferenc and Karcsi. Steve is survived by his friend and partner of 28 years, Nicole Boulet; his children, daughter Joanne (Adrian) and children Melissa (Wes) Stewart and Amanda (fiancé Nolan); son Stephen and children Amber and Avary; son Jeffrey (Cheri) and children Xander and Xavier, and son Jason; sisters, Iren, Roszika and Mariska and brother Laszlo, all of Hungary; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve’s memory, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8 or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 2550 Broad Street, Regina, SK, S4P 3Z4.
