Dear Shelley, Jed and Molly My granddaughter, Angela volunteered at Hope's Home a few summers ago and remembers Jane as her very favourite person there. She claims she was able to distract Jane for feeding by playing Hide and Seek with her. Your dear Jane made quite an impression on Angela. Angela and I often come to Dessarts for our ice cream cones; our favourite spot. We have spoken to you on occasion when we have been there. Angela and I were deeply saddened to see the news of Jane's passing and at Angela's request we attended her memorial today. Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Judy Halliday

I have no words to ease your grief......I wish I did. I know you all loved Jane so very much and I only wish she could have stayed a while longer. I regret I will not be able to be there, but I am with your family in my heart and my soul. Stay strong for your other daughter, grieve, cry do anything you can to help yourselves get through this. I just want to share with you how much Jane touched me in the short time I knew her. As a counsellor of her's last year at Camp Easter Seal she was truly one of the campers who make the job rewarding. With her smile she drew everyone towards her and everyone had to have a chance to hold her! I've never met anyone who found burp noises as funny as she did, that is one of the fondest memories I have with her. Jane, you will truly be missed by everyone who got to witness your infectious smile.

You don't know me or my husband but you may have seen my child running around at Hope's Home from time to time. We have been fortunate enough to call Hope's Home Olen's home away from home with all the amazing kids and aunties and uncles that make up such an amazing family. A second family that Jane was a part of. It is so difficult to write or say something about losing someone in your life that was part of your soul and your very being.
