I am sorry to hear of Don's passing. We were friends and playmates many years ago in Regina. We played Little League ball together and also many games of hockey on many rinks around Regina. He was a very competitive man and I am not surprised that he was a very good craftsman. Deepest sympathy to his family and to Lorne and his family as well. I worked with Lorne in Regina at CKCK-TV and consider him a friend as well.

I first came to know Don some 25 years ago when we first worked together on a large construction project. From those days on I always knew Don to be very sincere and understanding of others. He stood for what was right. Don will surely be missed. My condolences to Don's family and many friends.
