Obituary of Robert John Elberg

ROBERT “BOB” JOHN ELBERG October 17, 1942 – September 13, 2014 It is with profound sadness the family of Bob Elberg announces his passing in Regina, SK on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the age of 71 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Edna Elberg. Bob is survived by his loving partner Shirley Raczynski; son Brad (Karen) Elberg and their children, Adia and Evan; son Ryan (Tanya) Elberg and their children, Paeton, Easton and Maddux, and was affectionately known as “Pa” to his grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Frank (Colleen) Elberg and Dale (Clara) Elberg; as well as nieces, nephews and their children; Shirley’s children, son Warren (Julie) Raczynski and their children, Ava and Isla, son Ross (Stacey) Raczynski and their children, Hailey and Jake, daughter Kim Raczynski (Dustin Black) and their children, Daegan and Rain. Bob cared deeply about all of them and liked to hear how everyone was doing. He worked for SaskTel for 32 years, retiring in 1997 after which he held numerous jobs of which he enjoyed. Umpiring baseball, golfing with his friends as well as CFL football and the Riders were his passions. He will truly be missed by his family and his friends at the Serbian and Eagles Clubs for his friendliness and laughter.
