Obituary of Frank Conger

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Frank Corydon Conger, on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Born in Avonlea on January 24, 1932, he lived and farmed all his life at Truax. Predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Ada and Roy Kirkpatrick and brother-in-law Gordon Salahub; Frank will fondly be remembered by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis; children, Janet (Bob) Stevenson, Cory (Melody) and Kirby (Kim); grandchildren, Tony (Julie), Alan (Tasha) and Desmond Worfolk, Jessica (Garret) George, Melina (Shawn) Jenkins, Cody Conger (Jessa); great-grandchildren, Eve Worfolk, Mekayla, Isabella and Emmett George, Elliana and Amalie Jenkins; sister-in-law Lorna Salahub; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Interment will take place in Truax Cemetery, Truax, SK on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in Avonlea Community Hall, Avonlea, SK at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regina Palliative Care Inc, 4F – 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 1A5 or the charity of your choice.
