Obituary of Robert Joseph Hildred

ROBERT JOSEPH HILDRED With deep sadness the family announces the passing of Robert Hildred on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his parents Herman and Mayden Hildred in 1978 and his loving wife Marge on March 19, 1991. Robert is survived by three daughters: Wendy (Edo) Negri, Sharon (Bill) Sebastian and Debbie (Ron) Thompson. He was grandpa to Paula (Jeff) Gegner, Nanette Negri (Remo DiAntonio) and Melissa Dennett (Stacy Wolitski); as well as great-grandpa to Carter, Jessica, Sara, Ava and Isabella. Robert was born in Saskatoon on July 26, 1926. He was employed by SaskTel from November 1946 – August 1983, and active member of the SaskTel Pioneers. He also repaired braillers and talking books for the CNIB and was a long-time member of the Royal Regina Golf Club. Other activities he enjoyed were curling, badminton, fishing, travel and family. Robert enjoyed his years at Whitmore Park United Church and volunteered his time whenever possible. Flowers are most gratefully declined.
