Obituary of Ida Dorothy Lowe-Davie

IDA DOROTHY LOWE-DAVIE (NEE SEEL) On Thursday October 2, 2014, Ida Dorothy Lowe-Davie, late of Regina, passed away at Pioneer Village, where she resided. Ida was born December 7, 1924 in Lipton, SK to Jacob King Seel and Olga Seel (Mintzler). She was predeceased by the love of her life, Frederick Charles Lowe; eldest daughter Arley Lowe and her second husband, Jake Davie. She leaves children, Thomas (Karen) Lowe and Laurey (Ron) Milligan, and five grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Wood, Judy (Joey) Shaw, Jayne (Jamie) Leibel, Jaclyn (Quinton) Milligan, David (Jennifer) Lowe and ten great grandchildren who will love her always. Ida remarried in 1985 to John (Jake) Somerville Davie and gained another four stepchildren, Ray, Jackie, Donna, Diane and their families. Ida lived her life to the fullest. Her 89 years were filled with love, faith, family and friends. Ida could be found in her kitchen baking donuts, pies, cookies and cabbage rolls with her grandkids or relaxing in the hot tub with a Harvey Wallbanger in hand. Everyone that met Ida, loved her. She had a kind soul and kind word for everyone. A Funeral Service is being held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, on Sunday October 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ida can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan, 2550-12th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4P 3X1.
