Jean was born on November 17, 1925 in Avonlea, SK. She enjoyed most of her full life in Regina, and was very proud of all the city had to offer. She was known as an accomplished watercolour and oil painter and many friends and family were fortunate to be recipients of her works, which were also hosted in public exhibitions. Bowling was always a favourite hobby, and Jean was presented numerous awards over the years. Those lucky enough to attend one of her informal organ `concerts` will never forget her skill, Jean having learned totally by ear despite life-long hearing impairment. Her family, her Romanian heritage, `her` Toronto Blue Jays and her beloved kitties brought her much joy. She was the light of so many lives and will be cherished for eternity. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with interment at Regina Memorial Gardens to follow. Flowers most gratefully declined. Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Jean`s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8 or the Regina Humane Society, P.O.
