Obituary of Gordon Thomas Alan Beck

GORDON THOMAS ALAN BECK JULY 16, 1954 – OCTOBER 15, 2014 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon who passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. He is survived by his wife Leanne (Wright); two daughters, Lee (Rory) Peters, Kim (Darren Entner) Skrypnyk; two granddaughters Makayla and Madison Peters, his brother Don (Dianne Kilbach), sister in law Brenda Wright, nieces Tanna (Justin) Young, Katie (Garrett Mallett) Kilbach-Beck and great nieces and nephews Cooper and Oakley and Alexander Young. Gordon is predeceased by his parents, Deacon Arthur and Elsie Beck, late of Regina. Gord (or Gordie, Gordo, Gruncle to those close to him) didn’t always have a lot to say until the topic was of interest to him and then he could provide every fact ever known. He loved his family, including his most precious fur babies. He was very “low key” in his every day life but could have very refined tastes including the Diplomat, which everyone knew was his favourite place to eat. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. Memorial Services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 3:30 pm at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. SK.
