Hi Rod and Deb,
Sorry to hear about your Dad Rod! I just heard about it today - it is difficult to loose someone that you are so close to. He was a big part of your life. Obviously he was a well liked man with a good sense of humor like you. I love his dishwasher idea! Too cute. Take care ... Lavonne and Garth

Rod and family
My sympathy to you on your Dad's passing. I was fortunate to grow up in the early days of STC. My Dad, Ray Earl, and your Dad remained friends until my Dad's passing. They ribbed each other on birthdays as your Dad was a month older then mine. I alway enjoyed seeing your Dad though it has been a few years. He was always happy and funny. You were blessed to have him for so many years. Enjoy the memories.
Take care
Pat (Earl) Todd

Wish to express our condolences to yourselves and your family.
I always remember Rod you talking of your Dad with pride even though it was usually in a joking manner. I especially liked the storey about his dishwasher. Take care and all the best to you and your family.

Dear Rod, Debbie and family:
We have lots of good memories of your Dad. He was a great guy and my parents always enjoyed his company, usually over a few cocktails .
Coffee row, curling and the infamous liquor cabinet and his Christmas birthday are certainly things about John we remember ! At Happy hour once at Mom and Dad's , he threw himself into their rocking chair and he went over backwards ass over teakettle, one of the funniest things we ever saw! He got plenty of ribbing over that one!
98 is certainly a great age to have lived, but no matter how old , we are never fully prepared to lose a parent!
Our sincere condolences, Linda and Peter Halbgewachs
