Obituary of Frederick Henry Casswell

FREDERICK HENRY CASSWELL Fred passed away peacefully on the morning of August 30th, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick Russell (November 1963) and Nancy Alice (Miles) Casswell (December 2012), sister Linda Casswell Diaz (July 2014) and sister-in-law Marion Frances Gracey (December 2013). Fred is survived by his wife Carol Mae, brother-in-law Robert Roycroft, niece Sonya Chandler and her husband Roy, their children Penelope Rose and Eloise Frances-Mae and nephews Fernando Austin Diaz and David Diaz and their families, Bloomfield Michigan, as well as Auntie Joan (Miles)McGee and Uncle Nace Waters McGee of Duncanville, TX and cousins Patti McGee (Duncanville, TX), Nancy McGee (Lancaster, TX), William McGee, (Bridgeport, TX); Dr. Miles D. Clarke, (Ottawa, ON), Kurt Miles (Calgary, AB), Wendy (Ken) Copithorne, (Calgary, AB), Jack Miles, (Calgary, AB), Patrick (Kerrie) Miles, (Bragg Creek, AB); Michael and Wynne Miles, (Victoria, BC) and their families. Fred was a cherished and loving husband, a devoted Uncle, a beloved Godfather and self-chosen “uncle” to a number of children and young adults and, as many know, a dear and treasured friend. He dedicated his life to education and following two years of teaching elementary school in Regina, Fred had a long and distinguished high school teaching career in the Social Sciences at Sheldon Williams Collegiate, Robert Usher and Campbell Collegiate. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 3:30 p.m.
