I only today learned of the loss of Patrick. I am so very sorry for your loss! I danced with Patrick for many years with Poltava. I traveled to Ukraine with him and the group in 1991. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with him 5 years ago and was moved by his ongoing enthusiasm for life, even though he had been through so much! Patrick was always his own person. He proudly showed me his shop and spoke very highly of his family. I met his daughter at the time. Again I would like to express how sorry I am for the loss of a good man. Take care of yourselves!

Pat was a valued client of mine for many years until I finally retired and sold my business. I am so sorry to hear of his passing but know that he has fought that disease for many years. He is in a better place now.

Pat, There just aren't words that can express the loss I feel. Not only for you and your loved ones, but also for myself. You were such an amazing man and just as it says in your obituary, "You were the friend of age, and guide of youth." You definitely had a big impact on my life growing up and you helped carve and shape the path that I walk on today. I knew Pat for 30+ years and when I was in Regina I always made a point to go and see him. He was a man of great moral fabric and this was reflected in how he treated his friends and family. The world needs more people like Pat and he will be missed. Your friend Jon Firor

I am sending my condolences and warmest wishes to a wonderful family. It was a very long hard battle ... now finally he rests. Pat and I met 26 years ago at trade school in our younger days. We immediately became friends and always held that dear. As well in that time we became business colleagues for 22 years of that, having the honour of setting forward his visual style concept for his career. Be it our many conversations over the years about work and or our families, it was a wonderful friendship. I truly miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
