I lunched with Bob many a noon hour in the City Hall Cafeteria. He was special to me in that he became on of the table of "boys" who gathered there and had great conversation and a laugh or twelve. He was a kind and gentle soul who was always willing to help. I regret his passing and extend my condolences to his family and friends. I'll always remember his blue uniform and great smile.

Our condolences to family and friends. We were blessed to have Bob serve as our City Hall Commissionaire for a number of years. The 500 people who worked at City Hall were greeted by Bob throughout their day. Bob was always ready with a smile or short conversation if the time allowed and touched many staff and customers during his time with us. Bob also knew many of our names which shows his friendly nature. Bob was missed when he moved on from City Hall as I am sure he will be missed now. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was very sad to hear about Bob's passing. I have many great memories of Bob from when we lived in Regina and you were like my second family. I loved his smile, and the twinkle in his eyes. I know that he will be forever in your hearts and his love for his family will never be forgotten. I wish I could be there tomorrow to celebrate his life and wrap all of you in a big hug.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob for 10Years at Intercontinental Packers never a dull moment when he was around and always there to give advice when I needed it. In later years when I ran into him there was always that friendly greeting and usually some fatherly advice which always made me feel good. He will be missed but the memories will always be there. Rest in Peace my friend

Bob was a great ,caring gentle man.He put the word " gentle " in gentlemen. He loved the Bruins and me the Habs, we had great conversations over the years about hockey.
Bob was always neat and tidy,if I was doing a job for him and Lorraine I would ask where a certain tool was."Well it is back in your tool box" he would say.Off he went to get it. Never lost a tool working at the Cavers.
Bob was also on the invisible, stealth side.I renoed my house in 2008 and had and took many pictures of the renovation. Upon viewing them sometimes days and weeks later low and behold in a corner or somewhere in the picture was BOB. He never came and said hi ( did not want to bother me ) but there he was watching over things, maybe picking up tools.
I will also never forget the one liners that came from him. You would be chatting away in a group thinking his hearing aid was off and out of nowhere came things like " that is why they invented booze " Gotta love him , and I do and will miss him. Later Bob

i am so sorry to hear the passing of Bob. He was my mentor. Bob taught me values, honesty, and caring for everyone which has followed me all the days of my life in the meat industry and personal life. He was not only my boss in the early days of Intercon but a good friend and father figure. My thoughts and prayers are with you Lorraine, Reed, and David and all the rest of your family. He was a great man!

I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing, He was a wonderful man and made me feel part of his family from the first day I met he and Lorraine. He will be missed by both family and friends. He was always such a sweetie, so soft spoken and I don't think I ever saw him angry. There needs to be more like him in this world. Our world has lost a great man but heaven has gained an angel.
