Obituary of Mary Ann Flood
MARY ANN FLOOD
Mary Ann Flood (nee Kotowich) late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Harold Flood; her parents, Rose (nee Gocki) and Michael Kotowich; her brothers and sisters: Leo, Nellie Kozlowski, Anthony, Suzie Parent and Helen Deptuch; Mary is survived by her son Kelly Flood and grandsons: Patrick and Dylan; and numerous other relatives.
Mary was born January 3, 1920 in Cedoux, SK. She attended high school in Regina, and developed excellent office management and secretarial skills. She worked as a civil servant for more than twenty-five years for the Saskatchewan provincial government in the medical insurance branch. Hardworking and strong-willed, she was an excellent seamstress, homemaker and gardener. She was devoted to her husband Harold and supportive to her son. She contributed to the early childcare of her grandsons. Mary and Harold were active members of Christ the King Parish. Mary lived independently into her nineties in her Lakeview home, then spent the last two years in the commendable care of staff at Dove House on Cameron Street.
Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:30 am with Rev. Ken Koep presiding. A private Interment will take place at a later date in Riverside Memorial Park.
