Obituary of Phyllis Mae Anderson

Phyllis Mae Anderson passed away on December 6, 2014 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her father John Joseph Keller; mother Mary Jane Keller (Campbell); husband Arnold (Andy) Walter Anderson and her brother- in-law Bob Cresswell. Phyllis is survived by her sister Eileen Cresswell; stepdaughter Karen Fraser; grandchildren Paul, Lisa and Rayna; great-grandchildren Jesse, Lucas and Sequoia; nephews Donald Cresswell (Gail) and Murray Cresswell (Linda); niece-in-law Marsha Cresswell; sister-in-law Joy Eakin Cantner (Anderson); niece Shelley Eakin Nixon (Tom) and nephews Glenn Eakin (Deb) and Grant Eakin (Dorothy). She is also survived by her godson Jim Ritenburg (Jacquie) and long-time, very good friends Emma Anderson, Vi Cook, Pete and Mae Long. Phyllis was born and raised in Regina and attended Scott Collegiate. Immediately after graduating she began a 20 year career with the Hotels Association of Saskatchewan and subsequently a 15 year career as a Court Reporter for the Court of Queen’s Bench. Phyllis was a very caring, loving and loyal person. She was a lifelong member of St. Andrew's United Church, active for many years with both the choir and Sunday school. Phyllis was a past member of the National Stagettes and various bowling leagues. She was an original Regina Pats fan attending many hockey games in the early years, but most recently an avid Saskatchewan Roughrider fan following their progress carefully each season. A Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society, P.O.
