Obituary of Victor King Fai Mark

Victor King Fai Mark April 15, 1957 – December 17, 2014 Heaven has become a brighter place as it welcomes Victor. His life was taken suddenly from his family and friends on December 17, 2014. Originally from Hong Kong, China, Victor spent most of his life in Regina, Saskatchewan. Victor joins his parents Nuen and Wai Sam and his siblings Shirley and Lisa. Victor will be remembered by his other siblings Tom (Connie), King Him (Helen), Peter King Pui (Bi Youn Chen), Bill (Tina), Nancy (Edward Tang), and Al (Dawn Ruzicka), his Aunt and Uncle in the States, Shirley and Lisa’s spouses – Henry Kong and Bob, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and a wide network of friends. He was a loving father of his two daughters Samantha (boyfriend Ryan) and Kara. As the saying goes – “a dog is man’s best friend.” In the last year, Victor’s close companion and protector was his dog, King. As the hard worker that he was, Victor was an enthusiastic baker working at various locations during his life including Northgate Bakery, Safeway, Ready Bake, and Robin’s Donuts in Regina. He always had a smile on his face and a coffee in his hand. Victor loved to surround himself with people to share good food, stories, and the latest bargains. A gathering to celebrate Victor’s life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina on Wednesday, December 24th at 2:00 p.m.
