Obituary of Terry Lynn Thomas

THOMAS, Terry Lynn (nee Kerr) February 18, 1949 - December 21, 2014 Terry (Lynn) passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning from complications from emergency surgery. She was the loving wife of Greg Thomas. She is survived by her husband; brother Gary Kerr (Shirley) of Saskatoon; sister Cathy Phillips (Bruce) of Victoria; nieces and nephews; and her mother-in-law Mildred Thomas of Regina. She was predeceased by her parents Garth and Doris Kerr of Lang, SK. Terry grew up on a farm at Lang, Saskatchewan which she loved deeply. She was a beautiful, bright, witty and dynamic person. She attended school in Lang and Milestone. She graduated from the University of Regina in Education with distinction. She taught school in Milestone and Regina and retired after 31 years of service. She loved teaching and the children she taught. Greg and Terry would have been married 43 years on December 23, 2014. She will be deeply missed by her husband and best friend Greg and Shalom, her puppy. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, today, Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
