Dear Blenda and Family,
So sorry to hear about Fred's death. He was a very interesting person. We loved to hear about his latest project. He was our main man when it came to frame a picture.

To all Fred's family...
I worked with Fred at SaskPower... He was my boss, although that word could rarely be applied while I was working with him... He treated with respect and made me feel a valuable part of the team. I always appreciated his sense of humour and easy smile...
I planned on attending the funeral today, but events are getting in the way... Things happen. Just know I think of him and will be during the day.

As a SaskPower employee, I remember Fred as a co-worker. He always had a smile on his face, was light-hearted and easy going—he was happy. He truly enjoyed what he did—telling stories using words and photos. He was proud to work for SaskPower and it showed. He also talked of his family many times with fondness, love and pride.
My sincere condolences to Fred’s family. May God hold you in His hands and whisper words of eternal life and love.

Blenda & family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Gary and I were so glad to reconnect with you and Fred when he was in Sunset Extendicare. We will always remember Fred for his kindness and generosity for taking our wedding photos when we couldn't afford a photographer. May God grant you His peace and strength during this time. Dear Aunt Blenda and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Uncle Fred as a photographer taking pictures at Brightsand Lake when we were young. I also remember him painting the log cabin at Brightsand Lake and then framing it.
Sorry we am unable to make the funeral tomorrow. We will be thinking about you tomorrow and in the days, weeks and months ahead. Tomorrow will be a tough day - have strength in each other and remember the great times with Uncle Fred.
Take Care everyone,
Love and hugs from Jamie and Valerie Pearson

I knew Fred from his time at SaskPower. He frequently came to me to check out a pool car for his many work related travel adventures. He always had a smile, a laugh, a joke. Fred was a delightful man to know. I apologize I cannot attend the service on Monday. Good people will be remembered as a blessing. And a blessing was Fred. My condolences to your family.

Pam, we were very sorry to learn of the death of your dad. I know that he has been ill for a long time and difficult for you to be so far away. Glad you were able to be with him during his final hours.
Please know that Tom and I are thinking of you and your family. We know that memories of your dad will carry you on into the new Year.
Hope to see you in Kingston soon.

As a close friend of Fred's granddaughter Karly, her family is like a second family to me. Even though we live in a different province from her grandparents, I still got to know Fred and Blenda well, even calling them "Nanna" and "Poppa" myself and staying at their house for visits. Fred's books are incredibly humorous that show his wonderful sense of humor, and will immortalize his spirit that his family and friends knew so well.
Thinking of the whole family, and hope that you can find comfort in celebrating his amazing life and knowing his spirit is free.
