Obituary of Giovanna Altieri

GIOVANNA ALTIERI It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that today we the family announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Mother in law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Giovanna Altieri. She passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015 at the age of 91 years. Born in Faeto Foggia Italy she immigrated to Canada in 1966. Predeceased by her husband Giuseppe and sister Antonietta. Giovanna is survived by her sons Leonardo (Dina) of Canton Ohio and Tony (Denise) of Regina; grandchildren, Jenny, Joe, Mary, Breanna and Kristen; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters Lidia and Maria and brothers Leonardo and Sol (Shiela). Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Cathedral, 3125 - 13th Avenue Regina, SK, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
