Obituary of Patricia Ann Howard

Patricia Ann Howard 1933 – 2015 Patricia passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Pat was born November 11, 1933 to Frank and Lily Kraus. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty years, Fred Howard; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Brenda/Greg Gritzfeld, (Jenna, Tessa/Shaun and Kade Sullivan, Colton), Bart/Ingrid (Alanna/Dan, Aidan and Lily Knobben, Ashley/Mark and Coen Vandenbrink, Katelyn/Drew Reghenas), Brad/Karen (Kabree, Kylee); five siblings – Fran Kullman (Gord), Gerald Kraus (Susan), Gwen Myers (Len), Dale Kraus (Dianne), Debbie Kraus (Lawrence); aunts – Doreen Kraus and Elsie Colley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pat’s life was defined by her profound love for her family and friends, and the enjoyment she took being with them. She was a talented organizer who cherished gatherings and travel with her loved ones. Pat also had a love of sports that was ignited by attending sporting events with her father which continued to grow throughout her life watching her husband play and attending all of her children and grandchildren’s games and dance recitals. The family is sincerely grateful for the compassionate care and efforts of the entire Medical Intensive Care Unit at the Regina General Hospital. Pat’s life will be celebrated at Holy Child R.C.
