Obituary of John Ray Pelletier

John has gone to join his family in heaven. He passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the age of 61 years. He was born on Cowessess First Nation, November 29, 1953, to Rose Pelletier and Robert Redwood. He leaves to mourn his partner, Cynthia Matechuk; son Torrey Dubois (Michelle); grandchildren, Aylliah and Jacob; sisters, Holly Pelletier and Zita Zerr, Carla, Delmarva, Roberta, Jaycharee and Anika Redwood; brothers, Richard, William, Michael, John, and Billy Jack Redwood; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. John was predeceased by his mother, Rose Pelletier and father, Robert Redwood; sisters, Lorraine, Kathy and Vaida Pelletier, Wanda Redwood; and brother Robert Redwood, Jr. John was a wonderful person, kind hearted, always with a greeting and a smile. Always with a story or two. He will be missed by many. His only regret in life would have been, to be with his mother through her illness and not having more time with his son and grandchildren. A gathering will take place at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street on January 16, 2015 from 4:30 to 11:00 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, January 17, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Cowessess First Nation at approximately 4:00 p.m.
