Obituary of Gale Higgins

FREDRICK “GALE” HIGGINS On Friday, January 16, 2015 Gale Higgins passed away peacefully at the age of 75 years. He is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife of 50 years Teresa (Herauf) Higgins; his daughter Nicole (Higgins) Spangler; son-in-law Brian; and four grandchildren, Kolbey, Madison, Cassidy and Jacob. He was predeceased by his son Trevor Higgins. Gale was a proud and dedicated father and very loving husband who always looked after his family first, whether it was by selling men's clothing, sharpening skates, or running multiple other businesses in Regina. Gale passed away without any pain on Friday morning thanks to the wonderful nurses on Unit 3A at the Pasqua Hospital. Celebration of Gale’s life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Gale, to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 7T1. Dad was a special man. We'll never forget him.
