Obituary of Morfydd "Maureen" Frederick

MORFYDD ‘MAUREEN’ FREDERICK (nee Roberts) June 24, 1921 – January 13, 2015 Maureen Frederick, late of Marion Chateau, Regina, SK, formerly of Bethune, SK, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Merle; parents John and Catherine Roberts; two sisters and their husbands, Gwyneth (Pepe) Busitilli and Helena (Norman) Wilkinson; brother David Roberts; brother-in-law Ray Hale, son-in-law Richard Eberts. She was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Ed and Thea Frederick; sister-in-law Amy Hastie, late of Balcarres, SK; brother and sister-in-law Allan (Ethel) Frederick, late of Saskatoon, SK. Maureen is survived her children: Donna (Bob) Hehir of Bethune, Lyle (Minota) Frederick of Calgary, AB, Glenny Eberts of Moose Jaw, SK, Debbie (Dennis) Ulmer of Regina; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her sister Glenys Hale of Plymouth, MI; brothers-in-law, Rae (Doreen) Frederick of Saskatoon, Eric Hastie of Balcarres; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Maureen was born in Wattstown, Wales and grew up in London, England. She came to Canada as an English war bride in 1946.
