Obituary of Dorothy Mae Adele Dunn

Dorothy passed away on January 24, 2015 at the age of 94 years. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Avonlea, SK on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Avonlea Community Hall. Interment will take place in Regina Cemetery. DOROTHY DUNN Dorothy Mae Adele Dunn (nee Ehrle), passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Qu’Appelle House in Regina at the age of 94 years. Dorothy is survived by her grandchildren, Dennis, Debbie, Zackary (Jacquie), Jaimie-K (Trevor), and Hayden (Gaylene); five great-grandchildren; as well as her daughter-in-law, Devra, and Devra’s daughter, Shae. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Everett (Pud) in 1996; and her two sons, Dennis in 1953 and Kent in 2012; as well as her parents, RB and Ida Ehrle; her two brothers, Clifford and Lynwood; her sister Eunice; and their spouses. Dorothy enjoyed life, she was an avid bridge player, traveled frequently, and worked hard. Dorothy began her day with the words from Psalm 118:24 – “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”... and this is how Dorothy lived. A service will be held for Dorothy at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Avonlea in May. Flowers are most gratefully declined.
