Dear Colleen - We were so very saddened to learn that Tony had passed away. We first met Tony about 40 years ago when he moved to Regina from Ottawa and he and Jack worked together in the same office. It was impossible not to enjoy being around Tony with his great sense of humor, ready smile and genuine interest in everyone around him. We have many memories and even some pictures of shared social times together. We were happy to see Tony move back to Regina when he returned to work for Sears and after we moved to Kamloops, we continued to stay in touch. One of the best things about our being in Texas was when we found out you and Tony were there also, about 5 minutes away. We had a chance to share some time together again, tell a few stories about days- gone- by and listen to his music. Tony had a warmth about him that drew people to him and we are glad we knew him. We will miss him.
Our deepest condolences.

I will never forget living next door to your family on Radisson Street in Ottawa in the early 1970s. I have only the fondest of memories of your Dad and whenever I hear a guitar I think of him. I bet he is in heaven playing right now.
On behalf of my Dad and the rest of my family, I want to wish you and your extended family our sincere condolences.

We met Tony while he was a coach in Blind and Visually Sighted golfing. When you met Tony there was always a hug and a conversation. He was always genuinely concerned how you were and what you were up to. Tony was a loving and caring man who had only good things to say or do and never anything negative. I will always remember Tony as a Gentleman's Gentleman. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Dearest Colleen, Karen, Diana, and your families,
I am writing to extend my sincere sympathies on the loss of Uncle Tony!
He was truly one of the most sincere, caring and kind people I have encountered in my life! He always had a smile and a genuine greeting for everyone; made no distinction between adults or children; he truly was a loving human being, and made everyone feel special, just by his warmth and interest in all he encountered.
I feel very blessed to have shared just a small part of his life! He was a shining example of how we all should treat one another! What a Wonderful Uncle to emulate, in our own lives!
Love,
Bernadette

Tony was one of the very first people I came to know when I moved here from Edmonton in 1983. He was gifted in assuring you that he was glad to meet you and you were more than welcome to whatever event he was involved in.
Over these ensuing years I saw him many times out on some charitable event for the Lion's Club or just out and about, He always spread joy.
He never failed to deliver his trademark big smile and a handshake.
I was amazed at the number of community oriented programs he became involved with.
Tony, you will be missed.

Tony was a friend and mentor to many of us as young members aspiring to follow his "big footsteps" in the Drug Enforcement field. I had the privilege of meeting and knowing Tony in Ottawa back in the early 70's and as well as enjoying his friendship I learned so much about the job from him. It was my privilege to know such a great guy! Rest in Peace, Tony.

My condolences to Colleen, family, friends, and anyone else who was touched by Tony,
I have had the great honour of playing music with Tony and Colleen occasionally over the years with Neil Berg and Crossover and through Rosemont United Church. Tony really loved it when I could play my mandolin. Every time I play or hear Keep On The Side, I think of Tony singing it and I think it represents his positive life.
I will remember Tony with a song in his heart, a smile on his face, and positive words and spirit flowing from him. He had a servant's heart and helped so many people, including my mother, when he did driving for the CNIB.
Thank you Tony for your life and your service. We can only hope to try and live by your example. We will miss you.
Barry and Leanne Sudom
