Obituary of Colin Durwood Ast

COLIN “BUD” DURWOOD AST March 21, 1943 – January 28, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Colin “Bud” Durwood Ast, late of Regina, SK, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the age of 71, in the Regina General Hospital. Bud is survived by his loving wife and partner of 26 years, Janice; daughters Martine (Stephen) and Erin (Kim); sister Karen (Ross, Ulmer, Jasmin, Jade and Kira); brother-in-law Bruce Gellvear (Marla, Joel, Janelle and Lauryn); as well as several cousins and special friends. Bud had many fond memories of growing up in Fillmore, time spent at Kenosee Lake and travelling to new and different places which resulted in numerous treasured friendships. He retired in 1998 after working for Investors Group for 26 years. In keeping with Bud’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Janice would like to express heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Dr. S. Karunakaran, assistant Tracy and other medical teams for the quality care provided over the years.
