Obituary of Hanna Tressel

HANNA TRESSEL With sad hearts we announce the loss of Hanna Tressel. She passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Caroline Tressel and her sister Rosina Niebergall. Hanna leaves to mourn her sister Helen Schick, brothers-in-law, Oscar Schick and Eddie Niebergall, nieces, nephews and special friend Gordon. Hanna will be remembered by family, friends and the community for her love of music, playing the organ at many functions and singing in the Volkslieder Chor Harmonie. She was dedicated to her career at Sears and enjoyed her interests of baking, quilting, needlework, genealogy, traveling, and serving on the board of her condominium. Hannah will especially be remembered for her gentle, loving spirit. A celebration of Hanna’s life will be held at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Craig Moeller officiating. Private Family Interment at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Neudorf, SK at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Hanna to a charity of choice.
