Obituary of Veronika Ficzel

VERONIKA FICZEL Veronika of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Veronika was born to Andreas Schwarz and Maria Herale of Germany on April 16, 1932 in Slovakia. She was predeceased by her husband Rudolf (2008); sisters, Rosa, Milka and Maria of Germany. Veronika is survived by her two beloved sons, Ronald and David (Lisa), and their children, Ryland and Leighton; extended family Julie Rudrick, and her children, Adina and Stephen. Veronika married Rudolf in 1955, and they settled in Regina. She was a loving mom and loyal friend, and could be found helping others whenever she could. She loved her family and helped provide for them. Veronika was an energetic and enthusiastic woman who was known for her love of gardening, travel, traditional baking and cooking, and being in the country picking berries. She had a passion for dancing, entertaining friends, and playing cards. Veronika was a woman of strong faith and was a practicing Catholic all of her life. A Private Service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
