Dear Monique, Colette, Arthur, Gisèle, Yvonne and Jeanne,
Our deepest condolences to you on the death of your mother, Tante Yvette.
Besides the friendship that our parents maintained over the years, especially after your family moved to Regina, I developed my own relationship with your mother, both during my university years in Regina, and, later, during both secondments, first at the U of R, and then at the Ministry of Education. We shared more than one great supper out, and chatted for hours about everything.
I will always remember her warm hospitality, her earnest desire to make people feel at home, her energy and enthusiasm, and her deep love for Henri and each one of you, and her dedication to you.
Please be assured of our thoughts and prayers as you adjust to Yvette's physical absence. Remember that she will live always in you, as you keep her alive in the family traditions and values that she espoused.
