It was with great sadness that I heard of Mr. Yannitsos passing earlier in February. As an alter boy at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in my formative years I greatly appreciated Panayioti's faith and determination. He was one of the foundations of the community within which I grew up in. I also often remember my evening trips with my late father, Costa Kutsogiannis to the 4 Seasons to visit Panayioti for coffee and great conversations. This became a routine during my trips to Regina. I am very grateful to have been part of Panayioti's life and spirit and to have seen the great legacy of family and spirit which he has left behind. Certainly large "shoes" to fill by the rest of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Dina, John and George and your families for this great loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Peter in the early seventies and enjoyed his company and conversation many times. I will miss these wonderful times with Peter but I will always remember his smile as it came from his heart.

Panayioti was a good, hardworking man with strong morals, spirituality and sense of family. He was a great role model for George and others that knew him well. My heart goes out for his family as he will be dearly missed but his accomplishments and dedication far outweigh the sadness that will be incurred. God rest his soul.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of a wonderful friend and a role model of faithful living! Bob and I moved to Portland Cres, in the 70's and have enjoyed the 4 Season' food and social gathering over the years-a practice continued by our children! My retirement party was held there and Peter made sure all were welcomed and fed! Our lives have been enriched through the support of the entire family so we would take this opportunity to send our condolences, our love and our prayers to you all. We are wintering in Mesa but will contact you in person on our return. May it give you strength to know so many are thinking of you during your time of sorrow. All of our love goes out to you.
